  • Once your background check is passed and onboarding is completed, you will receive an email to schedule an I-9 appointment.

  • International students will receive a "Letter of Intent" at their I-9 appointment. Students can take this letter to the International Student Center located in the Hub for assistance with scheduling an appointment with the SSN Office. Once the SSN is received in the US mail (up to two weeks to receive), students are required to submit it to the Human Resources department in order to update their I-9 form.

  • Employees are given the option to order shoes through "Shoes for Crews" with Chartwells, initially a payroll deduction will be processed from the employees check in 3 increments of about $15.00 each. Once the employee reaches their 90th day of employment, Chartwells will process a shoe reimbursement covering up to $45.00.

  • Yes. Employees have the option to purchase their own black, slip resistant shoes. Shoes must be approved by their salary manager. Approved shoe receipts can be submitted once the employee reaches their 90th day of employment.

  • Yes. Chartwells supplies all uniforms free of charge. A payroll deduction will only be applied for lost uniforms or uniforms left at home and needing to be replaced before a shift.

  • ESS is a tool that allows Compass associates to view schedules online, request PTO, view paystubs, get notified about open shifts, and more. Your Manager will begin the enrollment process by activating your account and sending you a welcome email during the onboarding process.   • Select password reset option on the ESS login page. Within 15 minutes, the employee will receive an email with step-by-step instructions to reset the password.
